Sometimes it may seem complicated to register your child for family-based childcare (Kindertagespflege) in Erftstadt. But we’re here to help. First of all, the childcare advisory service (Fachberatung) of the City of Erftstadt is available to support you with guidance and assistance. In addition, you can also reach out to the Kindertagespflege Erftstadt e.V., for example by sending an email inquiry if you need help.

Now, let’s go through the process step by step:

1. First, always register with the Kita-Navigator of the City of Erftstadt and create a profile for your child.
IMPORTANT: Instead of selecting a regular daycare center (Kita), you must choose “Kindertagespflege Erftstadt”.
If you have already chosen a specific childcare provider and signed a contract, then there is no need to select anything else.
If you are interested in both a daycare center and family-based childcare, please also select any daycare centers that are of interest to you.

2. Get in touch with the childcare advisory service (Fachberatung) of the City of Erftstadt and register your family’s childcare needs there as well.

3. Now fill out the following forms*:

a) Application for funding
b) Proof of parental income

4. Send all completed documents, along with all required supporting evidence, by email or postal mail.
